Hello SCL readers. I am proud to announce the launch of a new and expanded Stockton City Limits! In addition to a new, sleeker website, SCL is also expanding its coverage of Stockton and Central Valley-related issues by adding two new staff writers.
When SCL was started nearly two years ago, I hoped that maybe a handful of people would be interested in my thoughts and ideas about Stockton. Today I am happy to report that I have met this goal and then some, having been fortunate enough to publish well over 100 articles reaching thousands of people both locally and nationally. Because of the great response, I have decided to widen the scope of SCL to include more content and different perspectives.
To that end, I am excited to introduce SCL’s two new writers; Kristine Williams and Cindi Marsh, both of whom bring impressive urban planning backgrounds and enthusiasm for the city of Stockton. You can learn more about SCL’s new team on our “About the Authors” page. Our content will be extended beyond the usual opinions on Stockton’s built environment to include more regular reporting on issues specific to growth, development and urbanism in our city.
Thank you for your ongoing support. It’s my hope that SCL will continue to provide thoughtful opinions and timely stories that shed light on the important issues facing the city and how Stockton should grow moving forward.
